Raktakarabi

Rabindranath’s Raktakarabi portrays the vices of capitalism and totalitarianism through a tale of an imaginary kingdom where a tyrant king has transformed his town into a ‘fort’.
The central character of Raktakarabi is a beautiful maiden named Nandini, played by Nuna Afroz. She represents beauty and life. The materialistic life of the citizens begins to change as Nandini arrives in the kingdom.
Ananta Hira enacted the character of the king. Besides, Ramiz Raja and Awal Reja also acted in the play.
